About ARIRANG KOREAN RESTAURANT

Located at 3135 Oak Valley Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, ARIRANG KOREAN RESTAURANT operates as a korean restaurant serving Ann Arbor in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Ann Arbor, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Changed owner and the portion and quality had gone so bad! $27 just for this? Updated after owner reply… despite the beef price increase and portion size, the beef is REALLY REALY CHEWY!

Great food. Golden yuzu-ade is delicious. Stone bowl bibimbap is perfect. We felt a little neglected because our water was only refilled when we were paying, but everything else was fast once we ordered. Prices were reasonable.

I come here often with my mom and the food is ALWAYS AMAZING. πŸ”₯ They’ve perfected consistency and great flavor cooking a variety of Korean food with authenticity! I’m Korean and my favorites are the budae jjigae and rose tteokbokki. I cannot emphasize how good the rose tteokbokki is omg you have to try it, the sauce is so addictive and the rice cakes are perfectly soft yet bouncy. The service is perfect always, the server and cook are so kind and thoughtful. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s ALL soso delicious. Seriously if you’re considering coming here come try!! You will not be disappointed. πŸ‘Š

Rating: 4.5 out if 5 (rounded to 5) Just ate at Arirang Korean Restaurant and really enjoyed it. The staff gave off a warm husband-and-wife vibe (that’s just a guess could be totally wrong), and the food was excellent. We had the Bulgogi + Galbi beef combo, in case you’re wondering, Galbi are Korean short ribs, both Bulgogi and Galbi have always been a longtime favorite of mine, we also got the Yukgaejang, a spicy beef soup with egg, vegetables, and vermicelli noodles (I did not try so I cannot speak to the flavor, I’m not a big into noodles of soup). Both my dishes were flavorful and well prepared. The dining room has large windows that let in lots of natural light and a pleasant view; I liked the plant by the window. The ambiance is simple rather than elaborate, but the friendly atmosphere and great food more than made up for it. I recommend giving Arirang a try. As always for a more detailed review and photos, visit SquareZones as I tried to provide long form blog reviews there.

My Go-To for Authentic Korean! Arirang is hands down the best Korean restaurant I've ever eaten at. Every dish bursts with rich, authentic flavors, and the best part is that it's all incredibly affordable. I've been here five times now, and each visit has been consistently impressive! My absolute favorite dishes are the Stone Bowl Squid Bibimbap, Japchae, Spicy Chicken, and the Kimchi Pancake. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Each one is packed with delicious, traditional taste. A special shout-out to Poom, one of the male servers. He's always so helpful with recommendations, incredibly nice, always smiling, and super efficient. The service here truly enhances the dining experience. If you're looking for delicious, authentic, and affordable Korean food, Arirang is a must-try! What's even better is that the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get.
